Classic computer games

In response to spaceman's selection of classic games, spaceman's old friend barney writes (with spaceman's comments in brackets):

"Classic games:

Joust (never played it)

Driver (Driver 2 is better, surely)

Goldeneye (on the N64? Spaceman hasn't really played this enough)

Elite (admittedly a classic, but a bit repetitive and not good enough to make spaceman's top 5)

Exile (never played it - apparently this was on the BBC Master system!?)

Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (never played it)

Ghosts N Goblins (strangely rings a bell, but can't place it)

Manic Miner - still can't get past level 17 (spaceman has never really liked this game)

Populous (Populous 2 was far better, but both were quite limited compared to Civilization - "Populous far ahead of its time" says barney)

Tetris (undoubtedly a classic, but again didn't make spaceman's top 5.  The best (non-portable) version spaceman has played is Twintris on the Amiga as you could play two-player against each other)

So there."
