"Sauce
not spicy enough (I don't mean hot, I mean tasty spicy). The naan was
disappointing - too brittle, no stretchiness, if you know what I mean. I
liked the Cobra beer on draught, though."

"I thought the service was pretty good (though my starter arrived after everybody else had finished eating theirs) and the restaurant itself was fine. I've had cheaper curries but there again I did have four pints (I think) so maybe that had an influence. However the food was very disappointing. I had chicken pakora for starter. While there was plenty of it, it did not have much taste. The curry I ordered was a bhuna. What I got was far closer to a rogan josh (in fact, if I have not known what it was purported to be, I would have thought it was a rogan josh). The (disappointingly small) pieces of chicken were swimming in a tomato-based sauce with very little taste (other than tomato). The naan bread was good, though. Overall, I would not put it high on my list of places to return to. [Fresh back from India tasting authentic dishes, perhap?]"

"I thought it was good!"
